Good afternoon,
The 18th Annual Global Semiconductor Industry Outlook is now available here. The KPMG report provides perspectives from a survey of 151 semiconductor leaders and was conducted with the Global Semiconductor Alliance, whose members represent 70 percent of the industry’s more than US$550 billion annual revenue.
Key findings include the following:
• More than half of those surveyed think the semiconductor shortage will ease by mid‑2023
• Most companies anticipate increasing their global workforce in 2023
• A majority of companies project growth and an increase in demand for semiconductors in the year ahead
• Talent risk is still the biggest industry issue, followed by the nationalisation of semiconductor technology and inflation.
We hope you find this report insightful.
