Archer's Virtual Annual General Meeting

Topics

Good afternoon, In this tenth issue of Archer’s 2020 Newsletter, I wanted to invite shareholders to Archer’s AGM which will be held on 30 Nov 2020. We also highlight the commencement of Archer’s A1 Biochip and a key outcome from our 12CQ quantum computing chip development.

Miniaturising an entire biotech lab on to a chip

Medical testing for the detection of diseases is often performed in a lab. Scaling-down these lab experiments onto a chip represents a multibillion-dollar global opportunity (e.g. think on the spot rapid testing at venues, airports, schools etc.).

There is a great deal of value to be generated in the technology development of biochips – it is deep tech. And at Archer, the resources and Tier 1 deep tech infrastructure needed for successfully building a biochip are available to us and are being utilised in-house to consolidate our whole-of-company business model and streamline our commercialisation.

Archer’s new A1 Biochip aims to simplify disease detection and its development involves miniaturising medical lab tests for disease detection onto an integrated circuit, a single chip, that is only a few millimetres in size – which we have already started to build.

Optimising the qubit in the 12CQ chip

12CQ qubit processor chip is a world-first technology that Archer is building – a technology which is at the foundation of an emerging multibillion-dollar global industry – details of which are covered in a recent ZDNet article featuring Archer.

Achieving control in few qubits would be a significant achievement and a major technology development milestone in chip operation, therefore it is critical to produce computational models of the qubit itself.

We worked with teams at the prestigious EPFL tech institute in Switzerland to accurately model the behaviour of the qubit material at the core of Archer’s 12CQ chip. This is a world-first, an excellent outcome, and provides the sound theoretical footing needed to build the 12CQ chip with a high degree of certainty.

Archer AGM to be held virtually

I would like to invite our shareholders to attend Archer’s 2020 AGM, to be held in virtually this year on Monday 30 November 2020. A link to register to attend the AGM is provided below.

If you require any further information about Archer’s 2020 AGM please feel free to contact our Company Secretary, Mr Damien Connor, by email d.connor@archerx.com.au or telephone 0439 849 207.

I want to thank our shareholders, as our progress this year would not have been possible without your support. I look forward to your virtual attendance at the AGM and answering your questions.

Sincerely,

Dr Mohammad Choucair, FRACI FRSN GAICD
Chief Executive Officer
Archer Materials Limited (ASX:AXE)
